Deleting your data
Last updated October 10, 2026
You can remove what dmkit holds about you at any time. Pick whichever of these fits.
If you use dmkit
- Disconnect an Instagram account: in dmkit, go to Settings → Accounts and choose Disconnect. Its contacts, inbox and activity are deleted straight away.
- Remove dmkit from Instagram: in the Instagram app, go to Settings and activity → Apps and websites, and remove dmkit. Instagram tells us and we stop using the account straight away. If Instagram also sends us a deletion request, its data is deleted at the same time; otherwise disconnect it in dmkit to delete it.
- Delete everything: go to Settings → Profile → Delete account. Your workspace, automations, contacts and inbox are deleted, along with your login.
If you messaged an account that uses dmkit
The account you messaged decides how your messages and details are used. Ask them to delete them, or write to team@dmkit.co with your Instagram username and the account you messaged, and we’ll delete what we hold about you within 30 days.
