Terms of service
Last updated October 10, 2026
These terms apply when you use dmkit. By creating an account you agree to them. If something here is unclear, ask us at team@dmkit.co.
Your account
- You need to be at least 18, and able to agree to these terms for yourself or the business you sign up for.
- Keep your login safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what your team members do.
- Connect only Instagram accounts you own or are allowed to manage.
Using dmkit fairly
dmkit sends messages in your name, so you’re responsible for what they say. You agree not to use it to:
- send spam, or messages people didn’t ask for by commenting, replying or writing to you;
- mislead people, impersonate anyone, or send anything unlawful, hateful or harmful;
- break Instagram’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines or Meta’s Platform Terms, or work around their limits;
- collect people’s details without telling them why, or use them in ways they wouldn’t expect.
We may pause automations or close accounts that break these rules, and we’ll tell you why when we can.
Instagram and Meta
dmkit is independent and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. It uses Meta’s official API, so Meta’s rules apply: for example, one private reply per comment, a 24-hour window for replying to messages, and hourly limits on messages. Meta can change or restrict its API at any time, which can affect what dmkit can do. We can’t guarantee that every message is delivered.
Your content and data
You own your automations, messages and contacts. You let us store and process them only to run dmkit for you, as described in our privacy policy. When you collect people’s details through dmkit, you’re responsible for having a reason to do so and for handling them lawfully.
Plans and billing
- The free plan has the limits shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance.
- Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, and their terms apply to the payment itself.
- You can cancel anytime. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and it doesn’t renew after that.
- If prices change, we’ll tell you before your next renewal.
Ending things
You can delete your account in Settings at any time; your workspace and its data are then deleted. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put dmkit or others at risk.
No guarantees
dmkit is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running, but we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or produce any particular result for your business.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, dmkit isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and if the change matters, we’ll tell you before it applies. Using dmkit after that means you accept the new terms.
